SUSTAINABILITY

Each one of our 20L wine kegs serves the equivalent of 26 Bottles of wine. This equates to a saving of 13 kilowatts of bottle producing energy and reduction in transport cost per mile. Each Keg is 85% recyclable with some components being 100% recyclable.

WILL TIPSY TRAVEL TO MY LOCATION?

Tipsy is based in East Grinstead, West Sussex and events within a 30 mile radius are included in the price. Mileage will apply for events further away.

WHAT SIZE IS TIPSY?

She is 2.5 metres long, 1.3 metres wide and 1.6 metres high. The tuk tuk fits through most double doors as well as into most marquees, barns and halls.

Tipsy can reach speeds of up to 35 mph, but so that we don't annoy other road users, we pop her on a trailer and tow her to events and back.

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO GIVE TO MY VENUE?

Please check with both your venue and your caterer to make sure that they are happy with Tipsy coming along to provide our drinks service.

Check to make sure that your venue holds a premises licence. If not, don't worry, we will simply apply for a Temporary Events Notice to cover your day.

We also recommend checking whether they will charge any additional corkage.

We are always happy to speak to them on your behalf.

DOES TIPSY HAVE ANY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS TO OPERATE?

All we require is access to 1 standard plug socket.

HOW EARLY TO I NEED TO BOOK?

If your venue doesn't hold a premises licence, we will apply for a Temporary Events Notice on your behalf and a cost of £70 will be added to your chosen package price.

Typically it takes 4 weeks for a Temporary Events Notice to be processed.

WHAT IF IT'S RAINING AND THE TUK TUK DOESN'T FIT INSIDE?

We have a small gazebo that we can set up over her and ourselves and we can position ourselves right at the entrance, or up against the entrance forming a small lobby area.

DO YOU SERVE OTHER ALCOHOL APART FROM WINE?

Absolutely! Please let us know if you would like to combine our bubbly & or wine with other drinks of choice.

A license is not specific as to which alcohol can be served.

HOW MANY GLASSES OF BUBBLY DO I NEED FOR MY GUESTS?

We would advise to allow for 1 drink per guest every half an hour. For example, for a wedding reception of an hour and a half we would recommend 2 or 3 drinks per person.

HOW AND WHEN DO I PAY?

Once you’ve chosen your drinks package, we will email through an invoice. We accept a 20% deposit to secure the booking and the remainder of the payment via BACS, the week before.

If you are using a cash bar, we will send through an invoice for the minimum payment which will be returned to you once it’s met at the event. During the event we can accept card or cash payments.

Your deposit is fully refundable up to 30 days prior to your event.
